Throughout the life-cycle of a plant, modifications to the process or control system are being made to optimize operations. To ensure that maximum value is obtained from using a training simulator it is important that the simulators are continually updated to reflect the process and control changes. However, experience shows that 50% of simulator users do not keep their training system up-to-date. As a result, the training simulator is not used as often as it could by operators and engineers and the value of the original investment is rapidly depreciated.
HyperionRSI Simulation engineers, through their extensive experience, are able to maintain and support operator training applications for models in INDISS™ and IndissPlus™ which either have emulated control and safety systems or are connected to distributed control systems (DCS) from a variety of vendors, like Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, Emerson and Foxboro. The company is also able to offer support services to OTS applications developed and delivered by Hyperion Systems Engineering and HyperionRSI Simulation to date.
